Applications of Brass Float Ball Valves

JieKeLong's brass float ball valves are designed for automatic liquid level control and overflow prevention in fluid storage setups. Key applications include water tanks, cisterns, boiler feed systems, irrigation reservoirs, and chemical solution storage. They are vital for maintaining stable levels to avoid overfilling, resource waste, and equipment damage in both domestic and industrial storage systems.

By JKL
  • Advantages of Brass Float Ball Valves 1

Brass float ball valves enable automatic level regulation via float-linked mechanisms, maintaining set liquid levels without manual adjustment.

  • Advantages of Brass Float Ball Valves 2

They reduce water waste and overflow risks by shutting off flow once levels reach thresholds in storage systems.

  • Advantages of Brass Float Ball Valves 3

Robust brass construction resists corrosion, protecting tanks and pipelines from damage caused by leaks or overfilling.

  • Advantages of Brass Float Ball Valves 4

Precision-engineered seals and float mechanisms ensure long-term reliability (8+ year service life) across potable water, irrigation, and industrial liquid systems.

Installation of Brass Float Ball Valves

  • 1

Check pipe threads for cleanliness and smoothness, removing any burrs. Inspect the float and valve seat for damage, ensuring the float moves freely.

  • 2

Screw the valve onto the inlet pipe by hand first, then tighten with a wrench 1-2 turns. Position the float so it hangs vertically in the tank without obstruction.

  • 3

Leave 5-8cm space around the valve for adjustment. After installation, test with water to check if the valve shuts off properly when the set level is reached, and inspect for leaks.

Working Principle of Brass Float Ball Valves

  • As liquid rises, the float lifts, actuating a lever to close the valve.

  • When levels drop, the float falls, reopening the valve to let fluid flow.

  • The brass mechanism ensures precise alignment, with buoyancy regulating closure to maintain set levels without leakage.
