JieKeLong's brass ball valves are widely used for on/off control in various fluid systems. Key applications include domestic plumbing (water supply shut-offs, appliance connections), heating systems (radiators, boilers), gas supply lines (natural gas, LPG appliances), and irrigation systems. They play an important role in ensuring convenient, safe, and reliable fluid control in daily life and industrial settings.
Brass ball valves offer quick quarter-turn operation for immediate on/off control.
They provide excellent, bubble-tight sealing when closed.
When fully open with a full-port design, flow resistance is minimal.
Their simple lever mechanism enables effortless operation.
Connect the valve to the pipe thread. The internal thread can be cylindrical or tapered pipe thread, while the external thread must be tapered pipe thread.
Use a wrench only on the hexagonal/octagonal fitting at the connection end. Never wrench the valve body or lever to avoid damaging internal seals and causing leaks.
Control the pipe’s external thread length during connection. Over-tightening may compress the ball seats, deforming them and compromising sealing performance.
When the ball valve is closed, rotating the lever 90 degrees turns the ball so its solid side blocks the flow path.
The ball presses tightly against resilient seats (e.g., PTFE), creating a bubble-tight seal that prevents media flow.
